Our Mission

Healing America’s Heroes (HAH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization  committed to giving veterans the tools to help themselves cope with the  effects of PTSD, MST and TBI through fly fishing and horsemanship  programs.  Through interaction with the horses and the repetitive motion  of casting, the veteran is better able to self-soothe by recalling the  calmness and relaxation experienced during their week with HAH.

Our Programs

Programs are offered in the Spring and Summer.  Our programs are 5 days (Monday - Friday)  HAH provides lodging, meals,  fly fishing and horsemanship recreational therapy at no cost to Veteran.

Current Events

Candy both tricked and treated us this past Halloween.  She gave birth to a little filly named Spooky.  Momma and baby are doing well.  They are living with Eddie Crain in El Vado, NM.  Pictures can be found in the Photo Gallery.

Donations

Tafoya Farms of Nutrius, NM recently donated 200 bales of grass hay.  This is the third year they have donated hay to HAH.  Thank you Gil and Anthony for your generosity and continued  support!

Big News

We are closer to having a permanent home to host our Programs.  The Plat has been completed!
