Healing America’s Heroes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping veterans, active service members, law enforcement personnel, fire fighters, and first responders with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) through our 3-day or 5-day recreational therapeutic support programs using horses and fly-fishing/fly-tying.

Our men’s session and women’s session take place in the peaceful and calming environment of beautiful rural Chama, NM.  Each session can accommodate up to eight participants.  Volunteers are important to support our instructors and participants in the sessions.   We welcome your support to HAH by assisting the instructors or performing other duties such as administrative, cooking, etc.  Lodging and meals for volunteers during men’s and women’s sessions will be provided by HAH.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Volunteer Application below.
